EQUILIBRIUM WITH ONE ANOTHER AND CREATE A SENSE
OF UNITY

DOMINANCE
This painting by Gentileschi emphasizes Judith and the act of slaying Holofernes
while the rest of the painting takes backseat in importance

shows a large contrast between light and dark around the center of the subject's face to create a more dramatic photograph
THEME/VARIATION
The continued use of the similar image of
vegetation, is pivotal to the meaning of the imagery
RHYTHM
forcing the eye to move around the flower toward its center
The image seems incomplete without the red streaks to the right to complete the yellow/white streaks on the left. Without either side this familiar style of picture becomes messy.
LINES
The lines in this photograph establish a rhythm. They are extremely long and straight, they feel smooth, yet unwelcoming as they scope away from he camera. Very sharp focus.

This shows the full spectrum within the eye including primary, secondary, and tertiary all blending together

TEXTURE
The rusty feel of the photo shines through giving it a rusty feel. If you could not see the depth and feel of the rust the photo might seem too smooth or too rough.

SHAPE
This is both an open-form, because it blends an organic form with an inorganic form based on the perfection of the sphere, and it is a geometric form for obvious reasons.
SPACE... ... ... ... ...
In this picture the center is very concentrated with the pink center as the positive space. The rest of the picture, however, is negative space and as the star (subaru) extends outwards the space between objects increase as theyellow is more and more tinted and diffuse.
